India tourist visa online

The India tourist e-visa is granted for various purposes like recreation, sight-seeing, visiting friends and relatives residing in India.

You may also use it to visit the country for short-term courses (non-formal without the issuance of certificate/diploma at the end of the course) or programs on yoga, music, dance, crafts, etc.

However, it is essential to ensure that the duration of the course/programme does not exceed six months.

India business visa online

As the name suggests, you may apply for an India business e-visa for business-related purposes. The business visa online processed by the agency I choose typically offers a multiple-entry business visa, which is valid for 365 days.

Further, this visa to India on business purpose is a non-extendable and non-convertible visa.

Note: One cannot use a business e-visa to visit restricted/protected areas or cantonment areas.

India medical visa online

For foreigners wanting to visit India for medical treatments and related reasons, I suggest the India medical e-visa.

As a rule, for all the India visa online types, the passport must have a validity of at least six months. Also, a minimum of three blank pages for entry and exit stamps respectively is mandatory.

Why did I choose to get my India visa done from a company rather than the Indian government website?

If India wants to make a serious attempt to improve her tourism, it needs a competent India visa application portal. In my first India visa application attempt, the portal crashed midway I had to type my visa application all over again.

The government website then crashed multiple times over the course of the application and once I managed to get my application form filled the India visa payment gateway failed. The worst problem with India visa payment gateway is after 3 failed attempts you need to fill the India visa application form again. Strike 3 and out !!.
