What to do when there is no appointment available for Schengen visa?
When you don’t get an appointment you can try the following alternatives.
You could try changing your jurisdiction.
It is not necessary that you will always get an appointment from the city you want. What you can do is try changing the city. This might or might not work as even other consulates are usually booked out beforehand.
You could try changing your primary consulate.
There are countries like Luxembourg, Malta, and Iceland which have a lesser influx of visa applicants. So, you can change your primary consulate to one of these countries and apply for Schengen visa.
To apply for a Schengen visa in any country, you will need to show an itinerary for that country. We can help you get a temporary travel plan to show the officials. Just click here and we’ll help you get the travel plan.
Once you get a Schengen visa for any country, you’re free to visit any of the Schengen states. So, what you can do is, you can land in Malta, travel for a day or two and then visit any Schengen nation you wish.
Or you can land in Finland, show them the temporary travel plans you got from us, and convince them that after spending a few days in Finland, you intend to spend the rest of your vacation in Malta or whichever your primary consulate is.
You could try waiting for someone else to cancel their appointment.
This method is the riskiest of all, as you could blink and miss the opportunity or it might not present itself to you at all. It requires being patient and vigilant enough to open multiple tabs for all consulates and keep refreshing them.
Many customers have had the patience to this and have been duly rewarded. If you don’t want to go through the hassle, you can get a dedicated team at travelvisabookings to do it for you by filling the Schengen visa appointment form.
