Zoom in with the ‘+‘ sign on the right. Each Spanish consulate in the US is shown by the letter ‘C‘. Look for the Spanish consulate in Los Angeles. You will find it on the left-hand side of the map.
Choose ‘Los Angeles’ on the map. A box will pop up with four options. Select ‘Consulate en Consulate Los Angeles’ to enter the official website of the Spanish website in Los Angeles.
Choose ‘English‘ from the top as your preferred language.
Click ‘Information for Foreigners‘ and you will get directed to a new page.
Click on ‘Visa‘ to get access to their online visa appointment portal.
Click on ‘online schedule‘ to register as a new user.

Click on ‘Next‘ at the bottom-right to complete your registration. Once you do, you’ll get to choose an appointment slot. Choose a date based on your availability.
After scheduling the appointment, fill the Schengen Visa application form. Click on the link given below. Fill the form on your browser and then take a print out. Remember that the consulate doesn’t accept hand-filled forms. Take a photocopy of this form as well. Both the forms should have your signature.

Passport: Bring your original passport. It has to be valid and the validity should be three months from the date of your return to the US. It should also have at least one blank page.
US Permanent Residence Card: You’ll need to bring your US Permanent Residence Card. The validity of this document should also be three months from the date of your return to the US. This can be your US long-term visa or US Alien Card. Bring a photocopy of this document as well.
Photograph: One (2×2 inches) is enough and this should be a new one. The background should be white.
Cover Letter: Write a detailed cover letter to increase your chances of visa approval. Explain your travel plan and purpose. Include a list of all the documents you’re submitting as well.
Round-trip Flight Ticket Reservations: It’s mandatory to provide complete flight itineraries.
