Employment Letter – A letter from your employer proving that you are employed in the US. It should state hire date, your salary, your position, approved leave details, and so on.

Business Registration details if you are self-employed including your latest business license and tax returns.

For students, letter from the university confirming your enrolment and your expected date of graduation.

The Cover Letter – After you have prepared and collected all the needed documents, you need to write a cover letter. This letter should be addressed to the Consulate in Detroit and should state the reason for your visit. It should also explain your full travel plan.
